Where do I splice in wires for Defi water temp gauge?

Just got a new Defi D series water temp gauge and want to know where to splice the wires too. Anyone have any pics. Thanks

I use the fuse box down by the driver side kick panel. It has a black cover on it.

you have to hit the resistor wire on the flux capacitor

Do you have to tap the thermostat housing for the temp prob? Or is there any easier way to mount the prob for this gauge?

Yea I've been using the fuse panel as it is the most accessable.

you can splice into the radio harness...for the power,ground, and illumination...

does anyone else have the problem of when you dim you inside lights the gauge gets brighter.....and when you make the interior lights brighter the gauge dims?

Yep,you've propably connected the illum from the defi to the illum of the car which is -12v variable.You must connect the ilumm of the defi to +12v constant and adjust the brightness from the defi link panel....
