Where can i get this part?

I have noticed that in the wheel well on my drivers side theres a plastic layer covering the underbody basically used for as a mud guard or whatever, well it has broken off and is cracked it still in the wheel well but theres no screws holding it tight. Basically what I am trying to say is where can i find a replacment?

Replacement???

Just rip it out, it's weight reduction. You don't need it

You should be able to get it at a dealer. Sometimes called the "inner fender" or "fender liner"

Just the plastic that covers the fender wall. So ione suggests to rip it out, so you really dont need it? I thought you might because it protects the oil cooler on the driver side, anybody else say its usless? if so then i will rip both the driver side and the passenger side, actually wait a minute, wont my dirt and mud cat into the engine compartment with out the plastic in the fender wall?

YES! My were ripped out long ago. I just put new ones back in this past week under recommendation of the guys working on my car (rebuild + other stuff).

Lot's of crap was getting in there, not to mention I had a cable that had become unsecured and had its sheathing ripped away from being too close to the wheel.

I think I've read some people take them off on larger sizes tires to prevent some occasional rubbing.

it's better to have it, lots of dirt will get in your engine bay and also it helps protect the big bundle of wire on the driver side.

When you take the liner out to fit bigger wheels, make sure you relocate the wire harness to the inside of the engine compartment.
