hi, i am putting a borla xr-1 for the muffler on my car. it has a 3" inlet and outlet. does anyone know where i can buy and exhasut tip with a 3" inlet that i can put on it. i would like it to look like the back of a apex n1 single but let me know about any, thanks for the help, scott

 

Dude, get one of those tips with the L.E.D.'s in them..

i need just the tip, not the muffler. can i still get an n1 tip? the ones with the led add too much horsepower i dont know if i could control it, i believe it is 20 hp per led thanks guys, any other ideas? scott

 

there is no way you can have an N1 "tip" since the N1 exhaust doesnt have a tip. it is just a cannister mufler.

BTW, do you realize how loud your car will be with a straight pipe and an XR-1, let alone sound like ****?? buying a midpipe and having an XR-1 welded into it, along with a Racing Beat or M2 cat-back exhaust system will be a much batter setup, IMO.

 

he has a high flow cat, well if its still "together"
and is replacing his rice muffler (dtm tips) with a xr1 and a non rice tip..well i hope non rice tip lol

just get the muffler shop to put a piece of piping on the end and ploish the **** outa it..it will look like the n1

yea 20 hp is to much for me sorry, that is why i also took of the turbos, i am one of the few with a non turbo 3rd gen. read the post, or you dont derserve to post, then you would see it was a joke

 

Yeah the led tip was a major joke... Can't believe someone really thought that you get 20hp per led... wtf?

 

I would have to agree. It would be your best bet. Are you going to leave the hi flow cat in place or go with a mp?

Oh, and since there are 4 leds per tip that is a whopping 80 rwhp total! I should know, I have one
