Glass Sunroof Question

hey i don't have the glass sunroof but is it simple to change from the one i have to a glass one? is there a place i can get one or would i need to go to a junk yard and find one?

Expensive part... good luck. Also check the parts for sale section, you might have to pay more there though.

IMO i hate sunroofs. i rather not have one. however having a moonroof is a different story.

Seems most people don't think so, hehe. I had people offering me $50 for it when I was selling mine. I decided to keep mine.

I agree. specialy the glass ones, it just kills the look on the rx7.

I had a glass roof on my previous mbm touring. My current silver 93 has a metal roof. I was thinking about swapping them, but the glass lets alot of heat in the car. Its even worse if you have leather seats. There is some sort of shade you can get but its hard to find and the dealer wants like $500 for it. Glass roofs are worth alot. I sold mine for over $400. Hang on to it untill you get a good offer.

whats the difference between a moonroof and a sunroof anyways? doesnt the moonroof not open at all or somethin??

well with fds desgin both metal/moonroof open the same way {slide to the rear and tilt up}

When I was looking for my car I made sure it had a glass moonroof. This is the only pic of my car where the moonroof stood out, not the best pic though:
