Where Can I get Black Carpet for FD3??
I think we should get a confirmation first from whoever called before we make a list. At that point the thread will probably be moved to the group buy section. We should all check out their site too, as they have several different types of carpet and a couple options like heelpad and embroidery. I'm hoping they will let us choose our carpet type and options, as some may not want the expensive stuff like I do.
We're getting our carpet!!!!
We are going to get our carpet. I need some one in or around Anniston Alabama that can be without their car for at least a week. You will supposedly get a free carpet out of the deal. ASAP. The heck with PM call me on my cell phone:252-883-4833. If I can get this expidited we all may be able to get new carpet in as little as 2-3 weeks
There are some conditions so its not first come first serve.
As soon as this is done I'll get the group buy in progress. It would be great if we could get a large list together for the group buy before the molds are done.

I am not concerned with whoever called initially, they were trying to have ACC make a carpet for them to sell & not ACC. Thats not ACC's practice, so not applicable to us.
There is no minimum "buy in" since they know they will continue to sell this model.
This is not a group buy, yet, so this will not be moved at this time.
When the mold is finalized I'll talk shop with them about styles/color/vs price, until then its pointless, as they do not even know how much carpet is in volved. However, after speaking with them, I do not think the price will very much between color & types of carpet.
It seems that they do have the 2nd gen. carpet but do not have it listed
As it stands ACC is going to do the main, floor mats, rear non-bose, and maybe the rear bose. Sweet

I have been working with ACC on this since 2005 and a group buy is now authorized and in progress.

We've had a lot of support with this, we could not pull it off without help from members like Mike (our first prepayer). We are currently offering incentives to anyone who can provide a mold car; If you think you may be interested, please PM LaBardi Performance. As Mike said, we will do whatever is necessary, even if that means 20 hours of driving. Our goal is to have a vehicle at their facility by mid next week so that we can get this ball rolling.

We'd like to thank Jim, tzbfwt, for helping to make this happen by volunteering to send his carpets into ACC. If you see him around the forum please give him an ata'boy.
Things are moving along nicely.
