keep the stock, or get some used ones from the junkyard. Aftermarket ones are usually not as good.

reason i ask is that i use them so often...that i'd rather have fans that wont ever break after long usage and i'd might as well just put them on when i get my fluidyne

I think you have other issues if your cooling fans are on all the time - I live in Tucson and never have any cooling problems. Then again there's nothing like gridlock to toast an engine.

I really don't think you can find any fans that are better than stock. Have you tried Water Wetter and distilled water instead of anti-freeze? It really does work well to lower temps and in SoCal you really don't need to worry about freezing.
