Question Where to buy cheap R1 lip

I remember seeing a thread a while ago about some place selling R1 bumper lips at a really discounted price but now I can't find find the thread. I think it was on special because it was one piece or something of that matter I forget, but if anyone knows what I'm talking about I'd appreciate the help

I'd try the for sale section and get in used. Or buy the 99 lip for $160+ from the rx7 store.

Were you thinking about Ray Crowe at Malloy selling em for around 100 shipped? If so, they should still be around that price. Give em a call (888) 533-3400.

The $107 price from Ray Crowe isn't a discounted price, it's THE price. You no longer have purchase it as two halves, which is why it used to cost $180.

The 99 spec price hasn't changed, although it's not a perfect fit to the stock bumper.

Doesn't Mazda Sports sell them for a little over $80? I think the catch is you have to be a member which requires proof of participation in 2 sanctioned track events a year, IIRC.

That sounds right - Malloy isn't quite as cheap as Mazda Motorsports. However, to get into that you need to post at least two non-drag event results per year.

No, it's the exact same two piece assembly, but the part number that represented both pieces in one kit was not available until this year. So everyone was ordering the halves separately. Why Mazda had a part number that couldn't be gotten is beyond me.
