I did the hose job. The only thing I found wrong (other than several rock-hard hoses) was that one of the hoses to the pressure chamber had popped off. This gave poor secondary response (the TCA was not working very well).

BTW, Dave G, I read yours (and other) write-ups on the hose job before I started - the blown-up hose diagram was great. Thanks.

The colored hose diagram was around long before I was here.

Did the hose job too, found a couple that had gone hard. Also every 1" hose had oil residue spray. Cleaned them up and put new clamps on and I was back to full (and responsive) boost.

Yeah, I know - but making it extra-large (17x22) so it could be easily read was extremely useful. Got THAT idea from you.

Did the simplified sequential, replace all of the solenoids and vacuum hoses. Haven't had a problem since. (I think polishing the UIM was what solved the problem, though)

When my twins started to act up i just upgraded and went with 99 spec twins and did an entire hose job. Now i am going single turbo anyway and wish i would have just done it in the first place.

Never had a problem with the stock turbos. Tried non-sequential, didn't like it, went back to stock. Now running single just so I wouldn't have to deal with boost issues.

Had an intermittent problem with 3k hesitation. Added a couple of grounds. No issues since.

For every $2 the state of Alaska pays in federal taxes, the state gets $3 back in federal funding...

You're a bunch of freeloaders!

I fixed the sequential.

But seriously contemplating going non-seq though.

Bad idea if sequential is working. Why take away the fun?

my sequential never worked when i got the car, i did the hose job and a few other things... never got it working right (pretty sure i had some fubard solenoids and wasent going to pay the $$$ to get new ones) so i went single.

I dont know if ide ever go back to the stock turbos power level though, my single feels slow to me now

I had to redo the hoses and some solinoids when I bought the car. Not long after I started having problems again, so I just ripped it all out. I don't miss the sequential setup at all.
