Where are all the VIN #'s located?
Where are all the VIN #'s located?
I'm looking at an RX-7 right now, I didn't get a chance to look for all the VIN #'s since I only saw the outside. I'm just wondering where I should look for them. Anyway thanks for the help.
I know this is probably a stupid question and all but I really don't know too much about these cars.

Also the car is a 1993 silver/black auto with 20k miles original owner. He is asking $19k. I spoke to the guys son today and he said the car was a non-turbo...
The 3rd gen were only turbo's from what I hear so I checked and saw a SMIC but didn't point that out to the guy
He seem to not know anything about the car. It's in really in amazing condition. Is their anything I should check for tomorrow since I'll probably test drive it then? Once again thanks for all the help

Do u mean u wanna find out where the vin number is located on the car?
If you look from the outside at the bottom right of the windshield, u can see a little metal plate with the vin number inscribed in it...

AxionF117:
I would be leary of buying a car from an "original owner" who didn't know his car was turbo-charged. VERY leary.
VIN# locations:
door sill plate(?), driver's side dash, middle of firewall above intake manifold, on engine block behind/below alternator
That's all that I know of.
EDIT: BTW, an automatic FD is not nearly the fun of a manual. They are much harder to mod and have no power off the line. Also, autos usually sell for quite a bit less than manuals. That car has very low miles but is still a 10 year old car with an auto. I think $19k is a little steep.
