when i turn key it makes click sound

Car still wont start but when i turn key it clicks once real loud? does that mean startrer is bad?

Maby. Start off by checking your battery ground(s) and power to the starter, too.

is ur battery fully charged? that could be one of the problems check to see if ur terminals are on all the way as well...sometimes if they arent u can lose power. but kinda need more information as to the problem of the car to help diagnose it

the only time i hear the click while trying to start the engine is when the battery is too drained or low, try charging the battery or jump start. If its still clicking then you have a loose cable the the others said, dirty/corroded terminals,or high resistance in your cables.

check your cables for good connections and corrosion! Clean your post and terminals. Make sure that your cables are in tact. you positive cable may have bare wire somewhere close to the block or something causing it to arc off. if that is all good then locate your starter and take a rubber mallet. Get someone to turn the key, when they do that knock on the starter with the mallet. If it wants to turn over than your starter is bad.
