what is a good price for one of these motors

93-95 Mazda RX-7 13B-REW Engine, Trans, ECU

I am looking for a clean one for my rx2.

 

without a core to give back $3000 is a good price for a reman. try malloy mazda i don't have the # but if you do a search you'll find it

 

800$ at my local junkyard. (minus harness)

 

A motor with all the wireing described is significantly more expensive than just a reman, since anybody with a burn victim FD needs all the wireing etc... replaced, and they're in short supply since as we all know the wireing in an FD goes crispy anyhow, and needs to be replaced, so unless you're talking to someone who had a rear end collision, witch replaced the harness(es) rescently you're talking 100's if not 1000's more for all the "Other Stuff" you'll need besides the rebuild....

 

I found one for $1100 with a 5 speed, wiring harness and computer. Only thing it needs to be complete is a car to mount it in and an intercooler. It is a used jdm motor with less than 50K.

Does that sound like a good deal.
