Did I miss it? I don't see an upgrade to the fuel system and the engine computer. If it doesn't have it, then with those mods, it's just an engine waiting to blow (if it hasn't already.)

That is a pretty good price, looks good, dude. What color is that? Black or Montego. It looks black. I still think Pettit exhaust looks the best. Think God mine had it on there.

JConn2299, I'll have to find out if it does or not. I'm assuming it should, but will confirm.

Thanks for feedback.

The car is black, especially since it's an R1.

okay, just found out it actually has a tad over 80K on the chassis... how big a deal is that? Suspension was done so that isn't an issue. What else should I look for with 80K on the chassis? Body is in great condition.

Also, there is currently no fuel mgmt system installed. I assume with this many mods this should be one of the first things that are done, right?.

Thanks for any replies.

Even with 80K on the chassis thats still a great deal, because the engine and turbos are new. New rotor housings, w00t, although I don't know why they used 3mm seals with new rotor housings. Depending on the size of the port a stock ecu might be ok, but I doubt it. Best thing to do is run it on a dyno with a wideband and find out, but don't let that stop you, just don't thrash it around until you're sure its ok. Barring any other problems, I'd be all over that.

Yes. With the street porting, induction kit, downpipe, and exhaust modifications, you are pushing much more air through that engine than you do with a stock configuration, and yet you are adding no extra fuel.
It is running a very high risk of detonation.

At the very least you need an upgraded ECU, and possibly a new fuel pump and injectors. These probably won't be cheap. I would consult a rotary specialist with a good reputation, such as Dave at KD Rotary, or look for a car in which you can have more confidence in the mods.

I'll have the car looked at and tested. I know it's not being driven right now because it's stored away...all the mods are fresh. Owner is older and seems level headed (not that this would matter much). I doubt he'd do anything that would compromise the car after all those mods were done and money spent. Who knows?

Thanks again.

Just my opinion, I think that car is worth more like 12-14k. Guess the biggest factor would be how much similar cars sell for in your area, some areas have higher or lower prices than other areas.

The car is not in my area. It's out of state. I'll need to drive or fly down to see it.

12K-14K?? The guy had around $10-11K worth of work done to it. How could you figure it costing only that much? The only FD's I'm finding in the 12K-14K price range aren't the greatest and or jacked-up! Meaning they some type of work done to them. I thought 16K was a decent price?

I did find one for sale in my area that had around 60K on it with similar mods, he was asking $21K. He just sold it last week.
