Whats my problem? Thanks!!

Alright, well iv somewhat had this problem for awhile now but it got worse now. i drive and the speedo would bounce randomly sometimes and most of the time it would just act normal.
It occasionally does it but now my odometer goes off.. when i start the car i see it and how many miles bla bla, but after about a minute or less it goes off and doesn't come back on pretty much until i park and it still goes on and off not rapidly.

Also i left work today, got on the nice empty highway, wot to about 110 then let off.. looked at my PFC and just curious looked at the speed and it said my max was like 90km/h which is 55. then cruising at 70 it says im going 24km/h

Thank you, for taking your time to read and help me

or about 110 anyways, you sure your speedo wasn't just saying it was going that fast? just making sure it felt like 110

that's not a little, what about when you're going like 70?

Take a peek at the back of your cluster. I'll bet you see bubbled capacitors and/or corroded joints.

There are many threads on this issue. Do a search and you will find what you need to do. They cover, in detail, cluster removal, which capacitors to replace, and how to replace them. From what I've read, the wrong speed being displayed on your PFC is normal when the speedometer suffers this problem.

I'd probably just replace the whole cluster with a Spirit R .. if I could find one.

nah i would want to keep it 93 with the original miles on there... but took the car out today an now the odom seems to be ok... did a gps test and its about 2-4 mph off.. also i noticed the pfc reads fine now that the odom is on but when it twitched off once it was off.
