Question what's my FD

hey all, i baught a 1993 fd that had caught fire and im puting a 99 entire front end but me and my friend and i cant figure out what model it is the car weighs 3200 so i dont think its a base model because the base weighs about 2700 but the car does not have a sunroof or back window washer or the bose system so i dont think it is a touring and the has cruise control but didn't have dual oil coolers so i dont think it's a R1, R2. so im lost oh and the dealer wasn't able to tell what model it was by the vin# so any help would be good thanks.

It sounds like a base to me.. no rx7 weighs 3200.. you're probably getting that weight from the sticker along your door sill right? that's not the weight of the car.. it's like some maximum capacity thing or something.. not sure.. but from the sounds of it, it looks like your rx7 is a base model..

Touring / PEG / PEP ALL have SUNROOFS

All the other options could be ADDED to a Base model

PEP only came on 94's and 95's i believe.. and he has a 93, so it shouldn't be a PEP..

I'm the friend kinetik was talking about. We figured it was probably a base, but it had the R1 wing on it. And cruise control we werent sure if you could get the wing as an option. Plus the seats were missing when we got it so we didnt know if they were suede or leather but I agree it's probably a base model.

Statik
P.S. Anyone selling seats

If anyone wants I have pics of the car.

The FD VINs do NOT contain any Option Package information so there is no way to tell what option Package or even Auto / Manual from the VIN
