What's this Pettit setup motor worth??

I'm trying to figure out what to sell this motor for. another forum member is doing an auto/manual swap, and wants to buy my whole setup. What's the following worth:

Pettit Street-ported motor 20k mi
Manual tranny 70K
including clutch assembly
all hoses pumps etc (except alternator--already promised to someone else)

What about if it was just the block & tranny with no pumps/ intake manifold/ bla bla bla?

What about the complete brake assembly?

I've searched the for sale section extensively, but prices are pretty varied, and a lot of people discuss prices via PM. It's Christmas--help me out. thanks,

-BN

another guy's got first dibs, especially since he wants to buy a LOT as a package deal. Should be back out, go ahead and drop me a PM as a reminder. You're second in line. NOW, as for prices...

I've spent the last two summers at the lake working at the Horny Toad, and at Time Out, respectively. I know all about your town. I'm surprised they don't beat you for not having a ford truck. However, that Taco Bell/ KFC all in one is kind of cool.

Now, Gentlemen, about the engine...?

Motor Core alone is worth 1000. That's if it was blown up, so my guess if you have the paperwork on the motor being ported, and oil changes, and number of miles, etc. You will probably get 2K out of the core easy. Add another 1K for Turbos that have no shaft play and don't leak any oil. Another 500 for the pulleys, Intake manifolds, Solenoids, Basically the rest of the components. Complete motor should go for around 3500. The trans with 70K miles on it. I'm guessing if you get 700-900 You will be lucky. You might want to check on KD rotary site for how much a trans is for better pricing on that.
Whole package with clutch as well. I'm guessing 4500, but if the person is buying the entire setup he will want some kind of discount since all you have to do is pull it, and give it to him and not part things out. You will probably get 4K out of the whole setup. Just my guess.
Good luck.

Those are both fair estimates. Just for affirmation, anyone else care to give an educated point of view like Conv.WS6 (and snook)? thanks guys,

800-1000 for the turbos
1500 at least for the motor
200-350 for the clutch depending on paperwork, and brand
LIM, UIM, Exhaust manifold, All sensors on the engine and accessories. Basically a complete motor and trans with documents, and you think that someone wouldn't buy the drop in unit for 4K. WHAT?
You can buy a blown FD for 7K and drop the 4K in the complete unit and still part out what you pulled out from the other motor. Not to mention when I replaced my core, I had 500 in gaskets alone from wonderful mazda.

I stand corrected.
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=136918

2K for a motor clutch, trans. I still think if you had it running in the car and showed the buyer it boosted just fine, and ran just fine before pulling everything you could get 4K though.
