I bought my car a year and a half ago (13K miles later)...no issues whatsoever! Mine currently has 82K on the odometer. My 88 TII has 176K on the odo and it lasts about a year without anything major breaking down (been almost two years now since turbos went out). Not bad for a 88 TII with all original equipment except the turbos and engine (went out at 143K..but after 10 yrs of 140+ mph almost daily runs..what do you expect?)

I'm the second owner on the original engine, and I haven't had any problems yet. I've had the car for about 3.5 years.

20,000 miles on a reman with 12,000 beat up miles on it.

I made the newb mistake of adding an aftermarket intake, dp, mp, cat-back, and no ecu or fuel bump. That was 5 years ago.

4 months, tops.

Bought the car November 2002, 77k miles, 7k on the motor and turbos. Used 1995-1997 by a magazine for a long term test, 52k miles put on in 2 years. Privately owned, one owner for last 5, driven 25k miles in last 5 years.
Oil leak, Jan 2003, Improperly sealed oil pan, fixed by motor company under warranty
Major oil leak, May. 2003, overfilled oil and blew out front seals, fixed by my wallet =(
Car wouldn't start easily, June 2003, caused by seals still settling, fixed itself
Major coolant leak/cooling system failure, Sept. 2003, caused by hole in Air Separator Tank, fixed by my pocket =(
Clutch linkage failure, Oct. 2003, caused by improper torquing of clutch linkage after motor rebuild, should have been covered under warranty by motor company, but my wallet paid for it yet again. =(
Trouble free for a month and a half as of now, we'll see how long she lasts...

95 montego blue Rx7, touring, bone stock.

Six years. I don't count normal wear and tear. Clutch wearing out, for example, is normal. Especially if you are racing - street or real. Car has never failed me. Never flooded on me, and I take it out to the west coast at least once a year (1200 km each way). It does sleep for six months each year, though.

I bought my car with a boost problem and fixed it, ran great, then I took it apart and started moding it. Once it was back together, coolant seals let go. Back together again and and making 300+ to the wheels and no problems.

Makes me wonder why I spent the big cheddar on ALL the reliability mods and had the one thing I was trying to prevent go wrong????

Great to hear from Greece---how many FD's do you have there?
Daily drive too!!! Do you have to sit in traffic much? I would imagine that heat would have been a problem, no?
