178 mph in Colorado Springs off of Mark Shuffle. My buddy has the video on his camcorder, I'm just waiting for him to convert it from his old camcorder to video so I can post it, I did get a 160 mph flyby on my other friend's dvd camcorder...wasn't quite as fast or fun as 178 but check it out anyways so you know I'm not full of bs...

140 in a mostly stock FC, the cool thing.......its not even turbo yet. basic mods like exhaust and intake, so I was surprised, could have gone faster but ran out of road. Sang all the way to the red!

Japanese cars are limited to 112 mph, mine is de-limited and ive had 167 on a straight probably 2 miles long from a rolling start at 60mph.

My record is still 165 (according to the speedo, which means it's probably really only 160 or so) coming back from Rotary Revolution I was running out of road FAST haha.

Def. not 140. That's theoretical if I'm not mistaken. Heck, I don't think even the stock speedo will reach 140 at 7800 rpms in 4th.

My buds prelude and my car said the same speed at 145... His off too?

Thing is, I remember the RZ as just having a different 5th, it specifically being shorter and thus giving you faster acceleration, but a lower top speed...

130.....something. I was focused and didn't take a lot of time to count the little dashes. I know that's not all that fast, but I was on a closed section of runway and had a nasty cross-wind. The surface also had some expansion joints that were pretty big and if I got too close, it made the car a little squirrely, like suddenly having twice the neg. camber. Pucker-factor kicked in and I backed off. For an old stock car, she still had some left.

Not the company
I hate to admit it...but i've hit 140 on I-295; on the way back from William and Mary. PLENTY of room left to go faster and the car certainly could have...but i decided it was fast enough for me.
Sure enough...about 1-1/2 miles after that a cop had somebody pulled over...that was a relief.

If you get a nice cop he'll give you a ticket for exceeding the maximum allowable speed limit. Only $98 if he's doing his job you go to jail, they impound your car (likely not to see it again) and you loose your lisence for a bit. (-:
