FL What's easiest way to replace Power Steering Hose?

Just need some advice before I have to rip half my engine bay apart to get to where the P/S Hose mounts to the lower portion on the rack. Thanks

Easiest way is to take off the rack, if you need descriptions I just did it today so I can explain easily.

Which hose?

I'd suggest referring to the FSM and looking at the diagrams. Should give you a good idea as to what is involved.

Hey Dradon,

Do you mind posting it or Pm'ing...

By easiest I mean, is there a way to do it with taking off the AC and Power steering pumps.

I did mine without removing anything, but it was a BITCH!! Even harder than changing the fuel filter. The hardest part is getting the bottom end to line up enough to turn the bolt...the next hardest part is turning that bolt haha. Good luck with this man.

Hello I wanted to know how to change the power steering hose also I developed a leak which I thought was a oil leak. The part I believe to be the culprite is FD01-32-682. If anyone knows the best way to replace this part. Thanks.

^Do you still have AC? If you do it's gonna be a bitch. If you don't, it should be pretty easy actually. What are you wanting pics of? The two ends of the hose? LOL

Both ends should have a banjo fitting to put the banjo bolt through. But the side that connects to the PS rack has a little tab on the fitting itself that fits into a little hole on the rack.
