wHATS THE DIFFERENCE ?

Ive been looking for a motor for my car and everyone lists the auto and manual seperate, is there a difference in the blocks. I have a fd with an auto tranny will a manual motor work ? If so what mods do i have to make ? Id sure appereicate some help....

Close! But not exactly what he's asking.

You can't use a manual motor on an Auto Tranny. You can go the other way around (Auto motor on a manual tranny). Here's a thread about it:
