The stock shifter has a bushing attached to it.. it is on the very bottom of the shifter and is a yellow/orange color.. (It is the plastic piece that moves around the joint in the bottom) I saved myself some $ and pulled the bushing off the oem shifter and snapped it onto the B&M shifter. It stopped the rattling.

 

Id go with either mazdaspeed or re-amemiya

 

I have had my C`s for about 2-3 years now and still wont change to anything else..

 

What does the C's run Jason??? They're out of business aren't they? I think that's the route I want to go if I can find one...

 

I love my B&M short shifter too. no problem for me here. I guess it depends on the installations.

 

I also have a B&M Short Shifter. It's not as short as I expected but there's no problems with it. I also put on an aluminum bushing. The B&M takes some effort to shift into gears but it's not something that bothers me. I have the other shifter bushings if anyone needs to replace them. They're the larger bushings, not the small one that goes on the end. PM if you need them.

 

I have a C's that I have not install'd yet but I had one on my 300zx and I loved it
