hypothetically speaking, say you go to iraq for a while and come back with $13,000. you are single, no bills, no kids and nothing else to really do with it... how would you spend it on the FD?

what part of iraq where you at? do you know where ballad is... like 20 miles north of baghdad? i was there attached with seal team 1 with the helo squadron. not looking to kill myself now, just make the car a "LITTLE" more fun

BTW, i am trying to drop a package for officer under the pilot program and then merge into astronaut (hopefully put an aerospace engineering degree to good use)

Ar Ramadi, Pres. Palace in Baghdad, and Al Asad. Leading combat logistics missions into the heart of a hostile city was definitely an experience, not one I'm in a hurry to repeat. Best of luck with the green to gold !

- Replace every wire in the front of the car.
- Replace every bushing, mount, and check the PPF again, replace that even if it looks mildly suspicious.
- Recover the seats
- CF sunroof panel
- CF hatch, Speedglass in the rear hatch and on the sides
- Rebuild the transmission, lightened flywheel and upgraded full-face clutch/pressure plate
- Plain (or very subtly vented) CF hood
- Paint match all the CF, maybe get a completely new paintjob.
- Save the rest for money that gets eaten up when I start tracking the car (probably buy things like dual oil coolers, SS brake ducts, etc. etc.)

Stock rebuild with new housings, new turbos etc. Built with longevity in mind. Complete refinish of body with OEM side skirts, and a set of wheels.
OR
Sell my car, add the 13k to the sale price and go looking for a C5 ZO6.

Buy a set of coilovers, rims, rebuild from rotaryresurrection, single turbo.

Try to get as many good deals in the for sale section as you can...

I agree. After I get back to Japan after being over here for 6 months, I'm definately going to spend a few bucks at a strip joint in Roppongi
