hypothetically speaking, say you go to iraq for a while and come back with $13,000. you are single, no bills, no kids and nothing else to really do with it... how would you spend it on the FD?

I did just that back in 2003. Deployed to Iraq as a Captain, BN S4. Made some cash, shot at some *******, came home and bought some nice FD stuff. Hardcore motor (none of this mild streetport ***** stuff, lol), rebuilt tranny, new BNR 3s twins, new engine wiring harness, paint job.....

- Replace every wire in the front of the car.
- Replace every bushing, mount, and check the PPF again, replace that even if it looks mildly suspicious.
- Recover the seats
- CF sunroof panel
- CF hatch, Speedglass in the rear hatch and on the sides
- Rebuild the transmission, lightened flywheel and upgraded full-face clutch/pressure plate
- Plain (or very subtly vented) CF hood
- Paint match all the CF, maybe get a completely new paintjob.
- Save the rest for money that gets eaten up when I start tracking the car (probably buy things like dual oil coolers, SS brake ducts, etc. etc.)

Stock rebuild with new housings, new turbos etc. Built with longevity in mind. Complete refinish of body with OEM side skirts, and a set of wheels.

Sell my car, add the 13k to the sale price and go looking for a C5 ZO6.
