What are u using for a MP resonator?
I have the SR resonated mp....nice and "quiet" until the turbos kick in, then it sounds like the usual chain saw on crack
the "two stage" sound is kind of nice, though....scares ricers and drowns out their annoying fart cans as they disappear in my rear view

Sounds like a good choice, but does anyone know if this resonated MP will fit with the RX7Store.net downpipe, since it is only sold in combination with the non-resonated midpipe?

The Rx7Store.net mp muffler I got was very well done, but for some reason didn't fit "Exactly" and the muffler shop I took it to basically loosened the weld, let the pipe be where it wanted to sit, re welded, and "Presto" it (muffler)stopped ratteling against the tow hitch.
I have a non - stock dual "Ramus" square pipe exhaust, which has performed well for me, and is as quiet as stock or somewhere near there...
Btw, I also have HKS DP.

Pettit, too
I have used the Pettit unit for ~ 4 years - love the tone it makes combined with his cat-back. No idea what muffler Cam used, but if you call and ask him he might tell you.
I just have to measure to see if a Hooker Aero Chamber muffler will fit underneath my car. If so, then I will have my MP cut and weld the aero chamber in.
Until I can get to my car for measurements (body shop) does anyone know if 10.25" in Width will fit in place of the MP ??

Batman,
No one specifically answered your question. Have you tried it? I was thinking about going this route.... converting and extra stock cat, staying 2.5 inch diameter (hopefully having enough back pressure to kill the boost creep and NOISE I had with a resonated mid-pipe). Any experience?

ummm.... that link to that resonator is cool but where im from you need cat's.... what im doing is buying a small cat from another car that has 3" in and out and punch out the inside... then weld some shields on to make it look stock..... its still a midpipe though...
most people use the borla XR-1 or the magnaflow mufflers.... thats all a resonator is..
