I just got this FD, and i was hoping you guys could help me out.
What brand intake is this? HKS?
and will it work with putting in an XS power SMIC or will there not be enough clearance?
THANKS in advance, i really appreciate it!

I still have the intake, but I went a different route after I blew that engine:

Yes, the brown valves leading back into your intake path are your blow off valves. One is the ABV (Air Bypass Valve which is your primary BOV) and the other is the CRV (Charge Relief Valve which works similar to a BOV but for a different function on this car).

The intake is fine but you need to make sure the filters are oiled. If they aren't oiled, it will let smaller dust particles through the engine. Foam based filters must be oiled to trap those kinds of particles. This is the main reason foam filters get such a bad reputation as no one but the motorcycle guys actually know how to use them.

so i can put two BOV's on this car or just one for the ABV?
is the ABV more toward the front of the car? or is the CRV closer to the front?
thanks again mahjik!

I've been reading about AST elimination or aluminum AST and I haven't decided what to do. Any suggestions?
