what are these apexs seals

i recently bought a rebuilt turbo 20b. after driving 500 miles i lost an apex seal on the front rotor. i disassembled the motor to find one broken apex seal and absolutely no damge to the rotor or housings. they are definitely not stock, ceramic or carbon. i am thinking they are hurley seals but would like some confirmation

I really think there could be many option for what they would be i really dont think there would be an easy way to find out if they are just steel seals, you might be able to rule some out if they are 1,2 or 3 peice seals but that would be it.

If they are ceramic, they'd have taken out your rotor and housing. I'm not sure about carbon.

Sorry, no clue. Haven't gotten to take apart any of these monsters yet. Did you try a service manual?
