Question What is "Spec 99" ???

I'm new to RX-7s, and I see this in a lot of threads - spec 99 taillites, etc. Pardon my ignorance (I did do a search) but can someone tell me exactly what "Spec 99" means?

It's slang for modifications to the FD that occured in the 99-02 model years (Japan only).

Kinda like the 3rd gen FAQ . Anyone truly interested in finding the info can find it, it's basically all there, that's why it's called the frequently asked questions post ...

Yah, that would be great to post a sticky. For now, here is a link to learn on 99 parts/ugprades:

http://www.rx7.net.nz/newrx7.htm

...I just checked this link and it's sorta' slow. It's been fine in the past. So hopefully it's not down permanently?

its pretty much upgrading to look like newer factory OEM japanese models. Think of it like JDM Integra Type R conversions.
