What sensor it this??

Its s sensor or a connection that goes attached to the catalizer. I am placing a straight pipe and I was wondering what to do with it. Thanks

Either a ground cable or the O2 sensor...only other thing that should be down there is the pipe from the air pump.

o2 sensor is in down pipe, and I think there is a grounding strap between cat and exhaust.

No, its not the o2 sensor, it looks more like a small diameter pipe. I also thought it could be air pump related. I will have some pics tmorrow.

If that is what I think it is, it's not a sensor, it's a hose that connects your air pump to your cat. Some cats need air fed to them and will prematurely fail if they don't have it.

The hose is the line from the air control valve to the main cat. If your air pump and/or ACV are removed, it can be capped off.
