What sensor is this?

Took off my upper intake to powder coat it, and found this sensor just laying there. Looks like some sort of idle air control, but there is already one on the side of the upper intake. So what is it and where does it go? I haven't been getting a CEL.

Hard to tell, but that looks like the Accelerated Warmup Solenoid. Most delete it, especially once you get rid of the plastic OEM elbow with the large nipple on the back for the AWS.

Was there an upper intake sold that didn't have places for these? Because I didn't see a place for it on the manifold, and I think I would have noticed it but I have been wrong before, and I didn't know exactly where it went.

I unplugged the sensor and took it off and the car runs fine, but now I am tempted to take the manifold back off and see if it has the place for it.
