What sealant is it that is used on the motor mount bolts that go up thru the bottom of the block, just behind the oil pan? The ones that came out have a really heavy, sticky gray sealant on them.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The RIGHT STUFF by Permatex is very effective. I used it on my oil pan which was warped by the engine mounts and this stuff works the best of anything I have seen so far. Expensive, about $18 for a small aerosol filled bottle but, works great.
It adheres so tightly to metals that I was even able to stop some minor oil pan leaks simply by draining the oil from the pan, cleaning the leak area and apply this stuff just to the outside of the leak areas. It's been holding dry for a while now.

Yep. Permatex's, "The Right Stuff" is so much better than their than Ultra Gray. Call your local Autozone, NAPA, etc., and most likely they have it in stock OR can get it in a day.
I've been using "The Right Stuff" for over a year now, and no leaks from the oil-pan and engine-mounts.
BTW: I also have the Gotham oil-pan brace.
