What now??/

For the past couple weeks I have been having problems....my car would suddenly drop in RPM while I still had gas on...and then leap back up (little jerking effect)...well tonight it did it two times and then it just dropped to zero and then would not restart...any ideas?

The car itself won't start eh?

Would it try to turn over and stuff or nothing, it just doesn't do anything?

How long since you changed the fuel filter? Had a Datsun that quit running on me right on the freeway, put in a new filter it started right back up.

Could be dead alternator or battery. Try a rolling start. Or you could have blown a seal in the motor (that would be a bad thing). Could be a bad fuel pump. Or clogged injectors. I don't know. Try checking everything. Maybe a bad map sensor.

I say with 99.9 percent probablity that your motor is NOT blown, as somthing as simple as unstable rpms would not cause it to blow unless these symptoms started after a hard run.
