WHAT MID PIPE TO USE WITH Greddy Ti
WHAT MID PIPE TO USE WITH Greddy Ti
Hey Folks,
I just got my Greddy Ti and the new 80mm size wont even come close to making a good seal with the supplied gaskett against the stock midpipe so i'm wondering if any of you have had the same problem and what you've done to fix it? I.E what mid pipes you used to mate with the Ti ? Thanks Ken

fuel system
I dont have any mods to the fuel system or intake. if i add the mid pipe im gonna have to do those as well as the airpump elimination and a ECU upgrade huh? whatys that run bout 1500?
Almost any aftermarket mid pipe or cat will be 80 mm and match up much better to 80mm catbacks (i.e. GReddy Ti). It should be possible to get it to seal to the stock cat though. Some sizes and qualities of exhaust flange gaskets work better than others. Exhaust cement is cheap and has worked without a flange gasket for me but I haven't tried it with titanium before.
You don't need fuel mods even with a mid pipe. You do have to keep the boost under 11psi with stock ECU! A PowerFC with commander is highly recommended with a mid-pipe. Stay with an aftermarket cat with the stock ECU. For maximum safety run the aftermarket cat and a PowerFC. Use search and read up on old threads in this forum.
