What is this little booger?

Upon routine inspection of the engine bay i notice that the one wire that goes to this little thing on my car was cut. Does anybody have any idea on what is the purpose of this thing?

There's only one wire going to it and appear to ground to the chassis. The car runs fine but I am little nervous since I am not sure of its function..

(pix credit to crispy..I just add the circle)

Looks like ur oil pressure sending unit condenser, it just helps save the sender incase of spikes in voltage I believe.

^It is for the ignition system. Supposed to help prevent static in the radio. It is called a condenser.

Also what is the little metal canister to the lower right (in the picture) of the bottle with the blue fluid? It has a white and gray connector with red wires.

Looks like a pressure sensor. Is it connected to the oil pedestal?

I'm guessing the blue stuff is windshield wiper fluid for a water/meth injection setup...?

The blue fluid in the bottle is actually windshield wiper fluid. That pix is actually crispy's car. You can visit website for more info. I just took the pix since I was too lazy to go take a pix of it on my car.
