Rikki: Everyone has their own definition of "Rice".. To me flybye's car is not rice. Hell, FDOkinawa(blue car with R-Magic N1 front?) had his bumper unpainted for the longest time. I've seen pics of other cars from Japan with no bumpers and huge front mount intercoolers hanging out. Didn't think that was rice either. I don't like yellow windsheild banners on black cars but obviously you do. Which is fine. To each his own as they say. That's just my opinion..

Keep in mind that as you may call another forum member "rice" they or someone else could be thinking the same about you. Everyone has their own definition.

 

I was j/k man, I know damn well whos car and what front end it is, it just needs to get painted. I don't think somethings are rice, if you have what it takes to back it up.

 

Glassman, I agree. He does need to paint it.. lol But you can't yell at the guy because he drove it a few times with the front end unpainted. I know I've done it before. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I was only kidding at the fact that he has 8k in posts so he doesn't need to paint it.

Jeesh, my FD sees the streets maybe 1 or 2 times a MONTH and I get for that 1 time?

Now let me remind you of something. Time and TIME again, have I told people "NO, I am NOT taking the FD out. I feel embarrassed without having the bumper painted." and time and TIME again, was I told "Noo, its not that bad. Come out with us, and blaa blaa blaa"

It's NOT my daily driver, and I almost NEVER take it out! Today, I went driving around for maybe 2-3 miles around my community at night and that was that. After all, boost is too good to live without for a while I'm working part time trying to finish school, so the FD is going to be a long project. Besides, I have other plans before she gets painted, too. I will be installing a custom dual large oil cooler upgrade and a billion little things around the chassis. (degreasing, cleaning, reundercoating, bushings, etc). I want to do a partial restoration of the chassis.

i was surprised no one repsonded to this remark... with everyone always bitching about using the search function, this joker comes on here, TELLS US that he is "too lazy" to search, and then to top it off, posts it in the wrong forum... i figured atleast a few of you would have said something! i need to be a mod, threads would be deleted/moved to the proper location faster than you can say "the rx7 club knows about you."
