I know they are definately buddy club p1's and although I have never seen a kosei k1 I know that they are made by buddy club and sold over here in the u.s. for a decent price, and are supposedly pretty light.

Kosei sells the P1 in the US under the Kosei name, as some people have correctly stated, but the wheels in that picture are Buddy Club.

And yes the Kosei are less expensive in the US and that's basically because they are domestically distributed, meaning they're able to take advantage of economies of scale and ship a ton over here at a time. The same thing occured when Veilside and BOMEX opened US operations.
