What kind of clutch?

I think my car is going to need a clutch by spring so I was wondering who has had good luck with what type of clutch. I was thinking of a centerforce clutch, but I am open to ideas. I know centerforce is good stuff when it comes to ol' skool muscle but is there clutch for my FD that I should also consider? One that isn't huge money too?

Depends on the purpose.

I would suggest nothing but ACT, street/strip or 6 puck.

nothing beats act. i have a high pressure plate with a street disk and it is good all around. you could probly get the clutch kit with a lightened flywheel for cheap. act rocks. my setup is good up to 410 ft lbs trk

i second ACT, great feel, VERY streetable and it can hold a lot more power than you can put out.

I personally the STAR Spec clutches sold by BNR Supercars. A couple dollars cheaper than ACT and super reliable..

But get whichever clutch you like although not too many of us like the Centerforce. It tends to wear out quickly IMO.

I own the ACT. Big diffirence. It holds way better, and has a stiffer(although not too stiff) pedal feel. I personally think the stock pedal feel is way too light.
ACT all thew way.
