I've heard the same exact sound on a Supra Turbo. Sounds like the Apex'i to me.

 

I saw that video and I was like OMG!!! that BOV sound really.

Sounds like the HKS BOV

 

I would agree. I have the HKS racing BOV and it sounds just like that. If that is the sound you are looking for go with the HKS racing BOV. Its great!!!!

 

i DONT know about the rx7s...but that BOV sounded like the BLITZ BOV i had on my turbo civic hatchback.......i just ordered a BLITZ for my 95 fd.......hopefully itll sound nice.......

 

with all due respect that doesnt sound like a blitz BOV. It's just a super loud pssssh. And it doesn't sound like the apexi either, the high pitch tune sounds more like the HKS BOV.

 

Chances are, he/she is running a lot more boost than any of us are..and that would change the sound of it.

well..juts got my blitz bov in last night.....sounds just like my civic one..but louder...im HAPPY....pssshhhhh or not....sounds BETTER than STOCK!

 

I agree that that is the HKS racing BOV (Type-R?), sounds the same as the one on the MR2 that blew past me while I had my criuse control on (first day trying it out).

I am running the APEXi Dual Chamber BOV and I am not extremely happy with the sound, but the performance is good

 

does it sound anything like the FD in the video??? or not even close??

 

i DONT know..BUT all I can SAY is that my BLITZ sounds a WHOLE LOT CLOSER to the video than the greddy or HKS ones.......
isnt he someone BIG??just call his shop and ask..LOL!!!!

Could be the GReddy Type R, but I've never worked with those.
Btw dragreur if u are reffering to me, I used to do turbo installs for a living, AND I have the blitz on my MR2, it doesnt sound like that.
