What kind of boost gauge do you have?

What kind of boost gauge do you use? What do you like or dislike about it? Where do you have it mounted?

I run an AEM truboost boost controller (it looks like a boost gauge that mounds in a pod). I like the utility and convenience of it. It uses LEDs as a needle and has a digital read out. What I don't like about it is that it is ugly as sin and is mounted on the lower part of my A-pillar which still slightly obstructs my vision. I would prefer to have it above my gauge cluster in a mickey mouse type holder with only one pod (left).

I also have a boost gauge in my Spirit R cluster. It looks great but it is not really close to my FOV and its vacuum range reading is not low enough.

I have the cheapo autometer, which works fine. but sometimes I don't think it's the most accurate.

what I love about it is the fact that it matches my gauge cluster. I put the red light bulb condom on it and it looks like the same light.

I mounted it to my A pillar, but it's kinda hanging by a thread cause I need to reattach it. I stuck it on there with double sided tape, for the time being, I can't decide how I want to mount it for good.

Wow dude, it looks like you have some kind of circle fetish. Do you find having that many gauges useful? I can't imagine having to keep track of all of that.

What kind of gauge cluster is that btw?

I only have Defi boost , water temp , oil pressure & fuel pressure , thats pretty standard compared to some collossal setups . As far as finding that amount of gauges useful goes? I guess I will find out when the warning lights go on aye

The centre console dash is a custom carbon Fibre setup.

+1 Looks great and has an adjustable warning light/beep as well as peak and playback capability. I had a greddy before that that did the job, but I wanted something with a warning.

Greddy white face in steering column pod. Works great. At night the amber lighting matches it with stock lights and whiteface turns black.

Had a Defi racer bf with red lighting and it was awesome. Only problem was it didn't like the steering column pod. Defi racers are longer than the greddy.

PFC Commander on Monitor - 1 channel. It has a built in peak/hold function, and for accuracy the MAP sensor can be calibrated to whatever it needs to be. It's also tied to the PFC boost controller, so I know my boost gauge and boost control functions agree.

i don't think I'd be able to handle a gauge that's in BAR, it just takes too long to convert... and any time I think about boost I think PSI. i kinda want to try an electronic gauge, but just haven't gotten around to it because I have many other projects

PLX OLED gauge that displays 4 parameters at once. For a complete write up and pics, go here:

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/plx-gauges-install-review-859426/

Can't beat them for functionality and style. Pricey if you want just one reading but not too bad for everything. For boost, you can display like a regular gauge (needle style, customizable colors), as a digital readout, as a graph, and with peak values.

Show off!!

Definitely an upgrade I'll be getting in the future. I'm going to stick 2 of those in my center gauge pod. Maybe even 3 who knows.
