Question Park Brake Light Stuck on?

hey guys,

Another questions here for you. Had not used the 7 in a little while maybe a month or two. fired it up and now the park brake light will not go off?? Any ideas?

check your brake fluid levels.. also check the switch that turns the light on maybe spray it with some isopropyl alcohol and cycle it a few times.

I can't take credit for this because Dale Clark showed me this when my lights stayed on this past spring (Broke after Dale sat in my car ).

There is a small plastic piece behind where the switch is.. If that piece breaks, your tail light will stay on. I'll see if I can get a picture of this this weekend if you don't know what I'm talking about.

If you are talking about the one in the instrument cluster, then check fluid levels like stated before. If that doesn't work the other switch for that light is on the parking brake before. It is a single wire spade connector and it slide of once in a while. Just plug it back it and the light should go away.
