AFM? MAF? MAP? Just trying to learn these things. Does anyone know what type of metering a 2nd gen uses? Thanks.

Thanks .

Does the 3rd gen motor have problems with blow off valves because they are evacuating metered air and causing a rich condition between gear shifts? I have heard this is a problem with most turbo motors that don't use MAP sensing.

------edit------

err...I'm a retard. I thought you said MAF. It must be easier to adapt a tec II, haltec, motec, etc. to a FD3S than my car (951) because it already has most of the proper sensors.
