What The Hell If I Pump The Gas Then The Car Starts.........
HEY PEOPOLE man can anybody help if i start the car without pumping the gas then its hard to start, it turns but nothing, if pump it then its good i have allready changed out my clutch switch and nothing can sobody help thanks again
Pumping the gas really does not pump fuel like with a carb. It might add a little due to faking the ecu to think you are excellerating. But then extra air flow and vacumm drop also happen, along with higher TPS voltages.
Maybe you should check all of the systems that affect starting. Check TPS voltages, and then O2 voltage after the engine is fully warmed.

actualy depressing the pedal all the way will cut fuel off at startup... maybe you have an injector leaking and you are stopping extra fuel from entering into the already wet mix adn this is what is allowing the engine to kick over. maybe its *exactly* opposite of what you are thinking???
