I fixed all my check light errors eccept for the one for the charge relief solinoid valve. Before I take everything apart I wanted to know what this solinoid does. Could this be the cause of me not getting any boost?

 

Yeah, that would cause boost problems. Most likely there is something wrong with the harness to solenoid connection. Luckly the CRV solenoid is easy to get to. It is the first solenoid on the rack and is within fingers distance. First unlpug it and check that there is no corrosion on the terminals, and then check for continuity between the two post terminals (It shold be the same in resistance as the others, and within spec of the manual). If there is, you can try cleaning them up and reataching the harness and see if that solved it. If there is still an error, try checking the continuty between the ECU harness and the CRV solenoid harness. There may be a short in the harness wires.

You can always test the solenoid by applying 12 volts to the two terminals. There shold be a clicking sound, and if you plug a hose you can blow through to the nipple pointing up, you should be able to blow through or suck through when there is 12 volts applied to the solenoid.

here's a kind crappy vacuum diagram, but it works just fine, and it is the only one that I have seen that has a hatched line for the Charge Control Valve (Not you valve in question, but still a notable feature).
