^ - I think it's pretty safe to say that the development curve has started to peak on the FD (as with any 15+ year old car). This forum has done a great job and has about as much information as anyone could ever compile about a single car in one spot.

There will always be some new information coming out, but the pace has slowed greatly, all of the low hanging fruit (and much of the hard to get fruit for that matter) has already been picked.

These kind of threads are great and what keeps the community together and in good shape. And as a result of that, people will continue to be passionate about these cars and new products/developments will continue to be created/identified.

I can't decide on a name for mine

I Agree, The reason why I started this thread was to get everyone to post.

To Groucho marks up there /\

The other reason is some of us feel more passionately about our car/work then others do, does that make us less worthy to be on the boards then you? If you don't have a name then don't post.

Please don't bash people for having fun, people post on here to get away from some stresses in life. I have learned tons from this forum and please don't insinuate that were less of a member for starting a thread because it's not scientific topic or simply doesn't cater to your view of how a thread should be. I'm very carefull and extremely calculated when it comes to my car from simplest detail to the most advanced modification.

Bottom line... If your that mad about it why are you even bothering to post about it? When someone posts something on a useless topic that has been covered a million times I don't go NEWB or IDIOT, I simply either post a link to the search or don't post at all. It's people like you that give forums a bad rep and detour those who maybe less educated now but want to learn, they simply won't risk posting in fear of ****** hounding them. Give people some room to breath and unwind, for christ sake your not even paying for it.

The driver,

Thank you for that post regarding the crotchety old **** bitching about this thread. This is just a fun little thread for people to see what others have come up with names, no need to bitch about it. We don't need this forum to turn into the nissan forums where the old guys bitch at the new guys about not knowing anything and the new guys bitch at the old guys about not helping. The FD section in particular (can't say much about the FC and FB/SA guys) is a tight-nit group and are usually willing to help with an answer instead of just screaming SEARCH.

My apologies in advance, I know this is in bad taste but....... This has little to do with how much we all love these cars.

Does anyone also have a pet name for their 'pee pees' ?

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist

Best wishes,
Crotchety Old ****

My first FD was named Dosojin, loosely meaning road warrior/dominator. New FD yet to be named.... and christened.

I know what you're asking yourself. And the answer is yes. I have a nickname for my *****. It's called the octagon. But I aslo nicknamed my testis. My left one is James Westfall and my right one is Dr. Kenneth Noiswater. You ladies play your cards right, you just might get to meet the whole gang.

No, but I did tattoo a yardstick on it.

Maybe I should name it Ruler. Yeah, that's it. Ruler.
