What do you keep in your glovebox?

Ever since I bought my car, the glovebox never worked due to a broken latch (seems a common problem in the 93's). It took a lot of time and effort, but I finally managed to repair the latching mechanism and get it back in the car. I decided to use my recently acquired owners manual set to test everything out, but I very quickly discovered that it isn't anywhere close to fitting! Even a few CD cases barely fit! I'm sure this probably common knowledge, but it seems wild to me. I guess it explains why so many cars are missing their manuals.
This got me wondering what do other FD owners keep in this tiny space; A couple cassettes for the OEM headunit? Loose papers? Random spare hardware? Actual gloves? Let me know, this thread is equal parts jokes and genuine curiosity

Just a couple of pens, and my phone. The Kenwood head unit in my FD has Android Auto/Apple Carplay, but it requires the USB wire connection. I discovered that all of the Android Auto functions on my phone work just fine with it sitting in the glove box, so I routed the USB cable into there and use it that way.
My defi gauges, specifically my ZD, I have my oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, and fuel pressure programmed to give off a constant loud tone if any readings are out of range, + or -, I open the glove box and see why the car is bitching. (I hate a ton of gauges)

That's actually a damned good idea. Way more accessible than the kick panel. I never really use the globe box for anything other than a USB cable for hooking up to the haltech, or maybe a phone charger.

Thanks, the glove box is too small for anything anyways and Its really nice to just open it and plug in whenever it needs to be tuned etc. i keep my registration and insurance in the ds door anyways so it was unused.
I keep proof of insurance & vehicle registration.... napkins and pack of bubble gum.
I have a strong habit of needing to chewing gum while driving But no gloves in the glove box

Currently just my datalogit and a bunch of wires while I get things dialed in. Hopefully be switching to the new 340XB unit then I'll 3d print an insert to mount everything nicely. Also have my wideband O2 senor controller in there.

(When I still had a glovebox) I would keep a tire pressure gauge, wheel locks and the registration in there, or at least that's what I can remember having in it.

About what I was expecting
. Either 1) practically nothing or 2) relocated electronics/ electronics related bits. Had I known I might not have gone through all the headache of ripping the glovebox apart to fix it ...

Cigar cutter, cigar lighter, single cigar case, bottle opener, Leatherman tool, can coozie, registration, and insurance docs.
Not having a glovebox that latched would drive me nuts. And I keep the owners manual in the pouch behind the drivers seat.

My R1 was about 1 year old (in 1993) when my latch failed due to internal door fasteners coming loose.
Had to cut part of the inner liner out to reach and epoxy the fasteners back in. Then epoxy-ed the panel back in.
I was the first to post this glove compartment door failure back then.
