Question what to do in conjuction with vacuum hose job

I am about to do the silicon vacuum hose job as soon as my kit comes in from hose techniques. While I am in there, are there any other modifications or things I could do besides removing the airpump, putting in a 20b and changing my gaskets?

If there ain't. That's all the better.

Well, while you are there, if you haven't replaced your Fuel Pulsation Damper, it might not be a bad idea.

I see in your sig that you have 1300cc secondaries. When was the last time you had your primaries (or secondaries) cleaned and flow balanced? If it's been a while for either set, that might be a good idea while you are in the area.

I would also suggest you check every check valve as you go. Maybe go ahead and replace your coolant lines as well. Good luck and have fun!

Here is the response to when I asked the same question (and I'm sure I wasn't the first)...

well after doing it, pull the hard pipe assembly that the fuel lines go into and polish it, looks really nice...

paint your ignition coil tray, replace the coolant lines and fuel lines, clean off the top of your engine, and spray electrical cleaner on all of the harnesses/plugs

i got 13.2V from my alternator, after electrical cleaning/pressure washing everything, i get a solid 14V

-drink heavily before, after, but not during, which is frustrating because that's when you want to the most.

Not to worry. I've compiled various relaxation tracks that range from a thunderstorm in a forest to enya.
