What could cause my 2ndary not to boost in 1st gear?
-TKT cold air induction
-TKT power pulley
-Downpipe
-Racing Beat Exhaust
-See signature for others
When I run with the PFS PMS (w/ keypad) the problem is elevated to the next level...if you need to hear about that just say so...(I don't feel like typing all that right now)
At WOT the secondary turbo will not boost in 1st gear and boost drops to about 5psi, until I shift and then I just need runway clearance to take off...
Please help, I know this could be one of many things, so all advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Carson

I also had this happen, but only if I was in 1st gear for a while and then floored it. The secondary would never kick on. However, if I was at a complete stop and then drag started, the secondary would come on no problem. Is this your case???
I found one of the vacuum hoses that connects to some metal tubes above the vacuum chamber was connected to the wrong metal tube. This vacuum hose was apparently responsible for spooling the secondary turbo from stored vacuum pressure if the primary was no longer able to spool the secondary as could be the case if cruising around in 1st for a while. (could be wrong theory, but the results worked, read below)
Look under the pressure storage (small black tank behind the oil cap). If there is a vacuum hose connected to a metal tube that connects to nothing else, that could be the culprit. If you look close, not all that metal spaghetti tubing actually goes anywhere. I switched the hose over and it was like driving a new car!

Hey whitet777, I have just the opposite of problem. I can ride around in 1st gear at high rpm and then step on it and get boost. My problem is a normal take off in 1st/drag starting...I don't get anything in 1st, and sometimes not anything until 3rd! I'll have to look where you're talking about though.

I found I had a hose that came from the Y-pipe to (check valve) the pressure chamber had come loose...once it was fixed, WHOLE new driving experience.
