all of the 93's were built in 1992...
at this point your looking for a car with all of the updates done to it. (note: all of the significant updates happened after 96) you want one with all the bugs fixed. an all original low mile car would scare me because they werent the ones that had the intake gaskets replaced, and the vaccum hoses redone, and all the oil leaks fixed etc.

since all 93's were built in 92 then here is what i am tryin to ask to clear up things.
i know that early model 93's had problems with their dash peeling. i also know that the type of plastic they used was changed in the middle of production during 92.
what i am tryin to get at is from what months to what months in 92 am i tryin to aviod.
i hope this makes my question seem a bit more clear

It was Dec 1st 1991 the first FD3S.
3rd Gens aren't out there by the millions, so I doubt whether you will be able to be that picky. As a car goes through production small changes are made sometimes daily so there isn't a magic date to have. The best 93 to have is a late production 95. Good luck anyways.

go to the newbie sticky link...search those pages for TSB (technical service bullutins) somewhere they should be listed by VIN numbers...that way you can compare and see if your car is effected...
personally I would just try to find one in great working condition....it will be pretty hard to know if some of the stuf was fixed by the original owner..or the second or the third...

If you look at the running changes done at the factory, any car with a build date BEFORE 6/92 is considered an early '93. Mazda did several changes during 5/92 so a car with a 6/92 build date is safe. Still, the later '93 the better such as the strengthened 5th gear fix(from TSB, affects cars built ~8/92 and before VIN ~10300).
Earliest FD build dates were 12/91 although only around a couple hundred were built. If you compare build dates to VIN's, you'll notice that Mazda built a TON of FD's in the first several months of '92 before slowing production.
