What is the this conector for?

I found the blue connector in my engine compartment and it is not connected. Anyone knows where it should be? (see attathment). Thanks!

California models have a switch on the EGR valve that tells the CA version of the ECU that it is working.

If you car is non CA, the harness has nothing to connect to.
