Hey guys i'am taking my midpipe off and putting back my main cat. Having boost creep with the midpipe, anyways i was wondering what cars i can beat with downpipe and catback exhaust?? I will be purchising an aftermarket ecu by re ammymia.
i didn't even know the re amenyia made an ecu - i'd probably go pettit , g-force or M2 for a ecu - re makes body kits and intakes - not sure about their ecu. With catback and dp you should be around 13.2-13.6 so you'd be close to a C5 but wouldn't beat it. Those mods should put you a hair in front of a Supra TT.
BTW that's RE Amemiya.. And that ECU should be programmed for more mods than DP and catback. If it's the same one that jspecracer7 had for $160.00 a while back. Which I can't imagine there are that many RE Amemiya ECU's floating around.

The ECU that I sold wasn't to that guy. However, RE Amemiya is VERY well renouned here in Japan. Body kits and the like, but his tuning is what people over here believe in. Either way, it was a non-tunable computer (Plus I got my PFC super cheap) so I sold it cheap. I'll see them in the classified's every now and again for about Y30,000 which is about $260-$300 depending on the exchange rate.
In reply to your question RE What can I beat?
you should beat 98% of the stock cars on the road and 95% of the modedded hondas& acuras, tt Supras will give a good run - Vipers, & late model Porsche turbos will still blow you away though. Italian exotics (Ferrari & Lambo) can blow you away, but most are driven by drivers that won't (or don't know how to) push their cars hard enough to do it though.

i have beat the following:
boxster s
2002 m3 (he was surprised)
2000-2001 mcoupe
c5 vette (we were pretty even for 6 miles!)
gm ev1 (he was surprised too)
stuff that beat me:
a late 90's 993 porsche
more modded fd's
my own t2
my car is a 3/93 cym r1.
it has an m2 dp, rb dual tip, gab super r's w coil overs, efini y pipe and duct, no rear wing, and occasionally a pfc. it has the original engine and turbos 92k.
you should take my results with a grain of salt, this is the ballpark you are in. most of these races were from a 25-60mph rolling start.

With only Intake and CB, I was neck n neck with a C5 till we let off at about 120 or so. Was neck n neck with a slightly modded NSX and inched by a stock NSX. Never had any problems with stock C4s. Never had any problems with 2nd gen M3s. Was neck n neck with a modded 944 Turbo S. Never had any problems with slighty modded any gen stangs, camaros, or TAs.
I WAS wasted by a single turbo Supra and a 993 Turbo S. The Supra....ehh...but the 993, I was HONORED to have raced a 993 Turbo S
