Im getting rid of the AC and the obvious stuff under the hood has been removed.
Now that i have the dash removed, i was wondering if there were any connectors/ motors/ etc that could be removed thats AC related. Im keeping the heater BTW

 

Well what you could do is...take out the AC evaporator. And then literally take the evaporator out of the box that its sitting in, reassemble the now empty "box"...and put it back in...so you will retain heating...but you will be a bit lighter without the evap...

My evaporator is a bit different than yours. There are two different types. MANA and Nippondesno, but the processes the same.

Oh one more thing...once you take the evaporator out of the plastic enclosure that it sits in you will be left with an opening where the evap lines used to go, make sure to close them up somehow so you don't have air escaping there when you turn the blower on
