Just got this piece 2 weeks ago. Bought the car with that area melted. Fitment around my Racing Beat Dual Tip looks nice. But I haven't fastened it yet.

I have the rivit gun and aluminum rivits. Problem is I can only find bare aluminum rivits. Still looking for black rivits... ideas?
Anodized or a Sharpie?

I'll probably use a Sharpie. Guess if it wears off I can touch it up pretty easily. Ever get that feeling in your stomach when you're about to drill a hole (or 10) in your car...

How about something like making heatshelds/ducts for open intakes etc.? I know Damian's template is out there, but there might be a market for those who can't or don't want to make their own.

How about an iinsert to take stock R1 brake duct opening and duct it to 2" hose to rotor backing plates. The complete kit would be nice. N-Tech has the backing plates and the hose, but not the duct-to-hose piece. This would be something like a 1"x4" opening to 2" hose adapter that could coexist in the FD wheel well opening

I used black touch up paint to paint the rivets after installation. You can't find black rivets.

The ducts you want are oil cooler ducts, not brake ducts.

Those are already done.

They work with your pettit copy.

I know someone offers them but I would think this would something you could make (I'd be interested) less expensive than OEM ones.

If your experience is in wood work, maybe you can try to make some subwoofer boxes that fit inside the trunk. No one has gone into that area yet. Good luck!

Thanks. That is actually a really good idea, I have built a lot of subwoofer boxes and speaker boxes before.
