Talking What to bring back from Japan?

Ok, my buddy is going to Japan for the month of April. He doesn't want to carry big bulky stuff, so a body kit is out. So what should I ask him to stuff his suit case with? ...anybody?

DragonBall Z cards. hahaha I lived in Japan for 8 years, where is your friend going? I would get a lot of electronics such as Apex'i, Blitz, HKS, Trust, and other compainies boost controllers, turbo timers, ECU's, gauges, japanese liscence plates from a junkyard (JK), and little **** like that. It's a lot cheaper over there. Apex Power FC is like $550 or some **** where here it's over $850. Just my .02

HKS 6spd tranny...
Lots of women..

j/k I know you said bulky things are out of the question.. I would say look for anything "rotary related" like watches, or maybe you can find one of those "stuffed rotors"..

if you can get a hookup on the jdm bumper combo lights, i am sure you will be able to unload those pretty fast. i can use a pair. also, japanese efini keys, and pretty much any other cool **** you cant get here.

oh yeah, and if you bring back anything bulky at all, please dont bring back any native japanese bucktooth, fucktooth, or "wandering tooth" (in the words of rotaryknight) girls please.

Bring This Back For Me, Please?

I have been trying everything I can think of to get an armrest for my FD3S. The armrest fits in the space where the ashtray is located on USA models. I have been told that the armrest is an OEM part for Japanese FD3S beginning in the 1997 model year.

You can see the armrest in this picture:

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...&postid=473692

I would appreciate any help you can give me and will work with you any way you prefer. If you like, you can ship the armrest to me from Japan while you are there or bring it back with you. Obviously I will cover the costs of purchase and shipping.

Please contact me directly:

raytuvell@attbi.com

Thank you and have a safe trip.

I'd also pay for cost+handling of an armrest ashtray insert.

Lightbulb wow, that's alot of stuff

I allready asked for some Giesha girls (LOL)

Well, he flies to Hawaii to meet relatives then they fly out to uhm, something like Okie-now-uh I think. I don't know he's cruisin the place. So the problem is he flies back to Hawaii. I can't just meet him at LAX. So I was trying to figure out what is small enough to stuff his suitcase that is cheap there but a fortune over here...basically the killer deal.

I will give him a list and some cash but don't know if he'll pull through. Hmm, wonder if his text pager works over there?

Here's a list of stuff to bring back:

1) SARD products(gauges, fuel pressure regulator)
2) Any major tuner products (RE, Panspeed, Veilside, etc.)
3) Factory Service Manual/Wiring manuals for a 20B

Just go to takakaira.com and look for stuff that might be able to fit into a suitcase relatively easily.

How about finding a good tuner for are cars, so we will not have to replace blown motors so much.

We can buy pocky sticks for pretty cheap here in L.A. as well as in San Francisco. I guess you're not located near an asian part of town?
